The Belt and Road International Geospatial Information Training Center (BRGTC) is one of platforms launched and sponsored by The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). BRGTC was jointly applied by the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology(ZAST) and Association of Science and Technology Professionals, Deqing Geospatial Information Town (DQGAST). The headquarter of BRGTC is located in Deqing Geospatial Information Town, Huzhou, Zhejiang, China, and operated by DQGAST. BRGTC is also supported by Huzhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology, Deqing County Association for Science and Technology and Administration Committee of Huzhou Moganshan High-tech Industry Development Zone. At present, several overseas branch centers are already established.

 “一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心（The Belt and Road International Geospatial Information Training Center，简称BRGTC）是由中国科协批准和资助的“一带一路”国际科技组织合作平台建设项目之一。本项目由浙江省科学技术协会联合德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会申报，总部位于浙江省湖州市德清地理信息小镇，并由德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会负责具体实施。湖州市科协、德清县科协、湖州莫干山高新区管委会对该培训中心予以大力的支持。目前，“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心已在海内外设有多个分中心。

BRGTC is guided by the spirit of CAST in promoting "The Belt and Road" science and technology by using people-to-people exchanges. BRGTC will be committed to contribute to economic development of countries along the Belt and Road and the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with making full use of geospatial information technology. It will extensively unite relevant universities, enterprises, training institutions, scientific research institutions, government departments, international cooperation platforms and experts, scholars and volunteers worldwide to cultivate Geospatial information technology talents with a global vision.

“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心以中国科协推动“一带一路”科技人文交流工作的相关精神为指针，致力于充分运用地理信息技术助力“一带一路”沿线国家的经济发展与联合国2030可持续目标的实现。中心广泛联合相关的高校、科研院所、企业、培训机构、政府部门、国际合作平台以及世界范围的专家、学者和志愿者，培养具有国际视野的地理信息人才。

The target participants of BRGTC includes

1. Officials, management, technicians and university students of countries along the Belt and Road

2. Overseas students/visiting scholars who are studying/working in Chinese universities or related organizations

3. Technicians and university students of Chinese Geospatial information organizations to "go global".

 本中心的主要培训对象包括：

1）“一带一路”沿线国家的官员、管理者、技术人员和大学生

2）在中国高校和相关机构学习工作的海外留学生、访问学者

3）意欲“走出去”的中国地理信息相关机构的技术人员和大学生

Our training will cover Geodesy, GNSS navigation, positioning and its applications, Indoor positioning technologies, Satellite Remote Sensing and Its Applications, UAV Mapping and Remote Sensing, GIS and applications, Cartography, Engineering Surveying and BIM, 3D Modelling and Digital Twinning, Marine Surveying, Monitoring SDGs of UN2030 with Geospatial Information, cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence related with geospatial information as well as scientific writing and published.

培训的课程涉及到大地测量、卫星导航定位及其应用、室内定位系统、卫星遥感及其应用、无人机测绘与遥感、地理信息系统及其应用、地图学、土木工程测量与BIM、三维建模与数字孪生、海洋测绘、地理信息与可持续发展、基于地理信息的大数据、人工智能等前沿技术的地理信息专题研究成果以及科技文章的写作与发表等。
